Like
the whole of Far North Queensland, Cooktown and the surrounding area has
its share of wildlife and beautiful flowers, plants, shrubs and trees.
Some of the photographs in, and attached to this page have been kindly
loaned to us by Gisela Whithear, and are noted accordingly. Gisela is
an avid bushwalker and a keen photographer so she has been exposed to
